What's Included with Membership

 

Volunteer Assistance

Members may request volunteer assistance with a variety of everyday tasks, including:

  • Grocery shopping and prescription pick-up
  • Friendly visits and check-in calls
  • Light housekeeping
  • Outdoor chores
  • Minor household tasks
  • Technology assistance
  • Seasonal decorating assistance

 

Requests are coordinated through this website and our office.  Your request is matched with trained volunteers based on availability.

 

Social & Educational Opportunities

Membership also includes opportunities to connect with others through:

  • Social gatherings
  • Educational presentations
  • Wellness programs
  • Community events
  • Special activities throughout the year

Membership Dues

Annual membership helps support the services, programs, and volunteer coordination that make Age In Place Door County possible.

 

Individual Membership: $125 per year

Household Membership: $165 per year

 

Financial assistance is available. We never want cost to prevent someone from becoming part of our community.

We're currently welcoming members who live in:

  • Baileys Harbor
  • Ephraim
  • Liberty Grove
  • Sister Bay

 

As we continue building volunteer networks throughout Door County, we'll welcome members from additional communities.

Adults living in our current service communities who would like additional support, social connections, and the peace of mind that comes from belonging to a caring community.

 

How do I request volunteer assistance?

You can request a task to be done through this website or by simply contacting our office. We'll coordinate your request and match you with an available volunteer.

 

Can I join if I live elsewhere in Door County?

Not yet, but we're actively building volunteer networks throughout the county and look forward to expanding membership into additional communities.

 

Is financial assistance available?

Yes. Membership assistance is available for those who qualify.
