Age In Place Door County is committed to serving older adults throughout all of Door County.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to remain independent, connected, and engaged in the community they call home. As a program of Do Good Door County, our vision is to build a countywide network of neighbors helping neighbors, making it easier for older adults to age in place with confidence.
Our growth is intentional. Rather than expanding too quickly, we are building strong volunteer networks within communities first, ensuring every member receives the personal support and sense of community that are the foundation of Age In Place Door County.
Communities Currently Served
We are currently welcoming new members who live in:
Baileys Harbor
Ephraim
Liberty Grove
Sister Bay
Members in these communities have access to volunteer assistance, social and educational opportunities, trusted community resources, and a caring network of neighbors dedicated to helping one another remain independent and connected.
Building Our Reach
Our vision extends to every corner of Door County.
We're actively building volunteer networks throughout the county so we can thoughtfully expand membership into additional communities. By developing local volunteers first, we're able to create a strong foundation that ensures new members receive the same personalized support and welcoming experience that define our program today.
Whether you have just a couple of hours each month or more time to share, volunteering is one of the most meaningful ways to help expand the program into additional communities while supporting older adults in maintaining their independence and connection to the place they call home.
If you live outside the communities we currently serve, we encourage you to contact us. Whether you're interested in volunteering, learning more about the program, or being notified when membership becomes available in your community, we'd love to hear from you.
