Our Advisory Council - Age in Place Door County

OUR ADVISORY COUNCIL

Age In Place Door County is guided by an Advisory Council made up of members, volunteers, and community leaders who are committed to helping older adults remain independent, connected, and engaged.

The Advisory Council works in partnership with the Board of Do Good Door County and staff to provide strategic direction, identify emerging community needs, and support the continued growth of the program throughout Door County.

Much of the work of the Advisory Council is accomplished through volunteer-led Action Teams, where members and volunteers work together to turn ideas into action.

Our Action Teams welcome people with a variety of interests, experiences, and talents. Whether you enjoy connecting with people, organizing events, recruiting volunteers, or sharing ideas, there's a place for you.

Member Experience Team

The Member Experience Team focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every member. From the first inquiry through ongoing engagement, the team helps ensure members feel connected, informed, and valued.

Volunteer Experience Team

Volunteers are at the heart of Age In Place Door County. This team recruits, supports, recognizes, and encourages volunteers while helping build the volunteer networks that allow the program to grow throughout Door County.

Connection & Engagement Team

This team brings people together through social events, educational programs, outreach activities, and community partnerships. It helps strengthen relationships, build awareness, and foster the connections that make Age In Place Door County such a vibrant community.
